Professional photographs of our 125A Nethergate studio

We recently had our studio at 125A Nethergate professionally photographed. A small milestone.

125A is the home of 125Architects: a compact, public-facing architecture studio in the centre of Dundee. It is where we work, meet clients, pin up drawings, review models and think carefully about buildings and places.

The studio sits behind a traditional shopfront on Nethergate, in the heart of Dundee’s cultural quarter. That public presence matters to us. Architecture can sometimes feel distant or opaque, and we wanted the studio to feel open and approachable: a place where conversations about homes, heritage, conservation and development projects can begin.

Inside, the space is modest and contemporary. It is a place to work, meet, display project photographs, pin drawings to the wall for review with clients and collaborators, and sit for a moment on the small window seat at the back.

The photographs show the studio in use: settled, active and beginning to feel like home.

125A has become our base in Dundee, and a visible expression of the kind of practice we are: small, careful and focused on thoughtful architecture.

A fuller project page will follow in time, with more on the refurbishment of the space, the fit-out and the design decisions.
